Northampton Saints fly-half is keen to build on his good form with the club in recent weeks.
The 25-year-old, who arrived at Franklin's Gardens in the summer, has played a key role as the Saints chalked up six wins from their last seven Aviva Premiership matches.
Now, the former London Irish number ten has targeted more of the same over the coming months.
"I have always been confident in my own ability but maybe I just haven't had that consistency," he told Sky Sports News. "I've started the season well in the past then perhaps tailed off before finishing well but hopefully that is something I have dealt with.
"I am playing well at the moment. I think I have made one or two mistakes but it is a learning curve and I will keep striving for that perfect game.
"It was always my aim to come here and nail down the shirt as my own and I feel I have started to do that now."
Lamb has yet to receive a call-up to England squad, although he has represented the Saxons on five occasions.
