Northampton Saints needed a late try to secure a 33-33 draw with Gloucester Rugby in the Aviva Premiership, after trailing by 14 at the break.
After a string of early Greig Laidlaw penalties, Charlie Sharples and Richard Hibbard extended Gloucester's advantage further, while the visitors were down to 14 with James Wilson in the bin.
The full-back made amends for his yellow card early in the second half, though, scoring two tries within 10 minutes of the restart to get the champions back into the match.
Laidlaw thought that he had sealed the win for the hosts with a late penalty, but Samu Manoa burst over with just two minutes to spare, leaving Stephen Myler to level the scores.
The result leaves Northampton nine points clear at the top of the table, while Gloucester sit ninth.
