Ospreys face an uphill struggle to qualify for the knockout stages of the European Champions Cup after a narrow 18-14 defeat away to Racing Metro.
Argentine winger Juan Imhoff crossed for the hosts first try after 26 minutes, and was quickly followed by French winger Teddy Thomas after Racing capitalised on an Ospreys error in possession.
This gave the hosts complete control early on, and they were further helped by a Johan Goosen penalty as they led 15-0 at half time.
However, Ospreys same back strongly as late tries from Rhys Webb and winger Eli Walker brought the deficit down to one point and set up a dramatic finish.
The hosts saw the game out after Goosen added a late penalty to secure the win which leaves Ospreys third in the pool.
