The British and Irish Lions will face their toughest test yet this Saturday on their tour of Australia after Queensland Reds announced a strong starting lineup for the clash.
The tourists had encountered few problems so far after brushing aside the Barbarians 59-8 on Saturday before seeing off a weakened Western Force side 69-17 on Wednesday.
Despite being without seven Australia Test players for the match, the Reds will still field a side that boasts 127 caps for the Wallabies.
"Playing against the British and Irish Lions is a once in a career type opportunity, so to be running out in front of a sold-out Suncorp Stadium crowd on Saturday night will be an experience these 23 players will never forget," Reds director of coaching Ewen McKenzie said.
"Our approach was always going to be to field as strong a lineup as possible and I've got every confidence in the group we've chosen to go out and compete against a very talented Lions squad."
The Reds are without Saia Faingaa, Will Genia, Liam Gill, James Horwill, Digby Ioane, Rob Simmons and James Slipper.
Reds XV: Lucas, Davies, Tapuai, Faingaa, Morahan, Cooper, Frisby, Daley, Hanson, Holmes, Wallace-Harrison, O'Donoghue, Quirk, Robinson, Schatz
