The Southern Hemisphere have beaten their Northern counterparts in the Help for Heroes Challenge match at Twickenham this afternoon.
Scott Spurling and Adam Thomson exchanged a couple of first-half tries for each side, before Saracens centre Nils Mordt kicked the Southern Hemisphere ahead. New Zealand's Jackson Willison then extended the lead to ten points after a string of passes put him clean through.
Ceri Cummings was able to kick his side back to within seven points prior to the half, but South African corporal Inus Ras was there to answer before the interval and put his team 14 points in front.
The Southern Hemisphere continued to put up points after the break, adding another try to take them 21 points ahead.
Munster's Tom Gleeson pulled five back for the North with just over ten minutes to go, before Pieter van Vuuren's response looked to cap off the Southern side's impressive win. However, with almost no time left on the clock, Ceri Cummings was able to sneak in for a late consolation score which reduced the deficit to 14.
