Back-row forward made his Test debut against Argentina last summer.

England flanker Tom Curry has signed a contract extension with Sale Sharks.

The Gallagher Premiership club announced that 20-year-old flanker Curry's new deal will keep him at Sale until 2023.

Curry's twin brother Ben recently agreed terms that will also see him remain at the club until 2023.

Tom Curry has won five caps, making his debut against Argentina last summer and also starting four Tests against South Africa.

He said: "I am delighted to put pen to paper again at such an exciting time for the club, with recent announcements of re-signings and reported signings in the future."

Sale rugby director Steve Diamond added: "I am delighted that England international Tom has pledged his future with the club.

"He has come though the academy and, along with his brother, has been a revelation.

"He is already a senior member of the playing group and is the best example of the modern-day professional rugby player – dedicated, clean-living, abrasive, and he has a great knowledge of the game for one so young."

Tom Curry is the last player to agree new Sale terms, with deals also recently announced for scrum-half Faf de Klerk, plus forwards Jono Ross and Josh Beaumont.
