Saracens lock George Kruis has expressed his delight after earning his first England call-up for the upcoming Autumn Internationals.
Following his impressive start to the new season, the 24-year-old was named in Stuart Lancaster's 33-man party when it was announced on Wednesday afternoon.
Kruis, who joined Saracens in 2009, now hopes to take his chance at international level.
"I'm delighted. I got the call from Graham Rowntree last night saying I was picked to be with England for the next five or six weeks, and it's something that I'm pretty happy about," he told Premiershiprugby.com.
"I have been pretty lucky with the opportunity, as other guys who were well in the mix have been injured, but I guess that can happy to anyone at any time. I've got the chance and I have to take it."
England are next in action on November 8 when they host world champions New Zealand at Twickenham Stadium.
