Jackson Wray demands Saracens response

Saracens forward Jackson Wray challenges his side to recover from their defeat to Exeter Chiefs and seal a place in the Aviva Premiership playoffs.

Saracens forward Jackson Wray has urged his side to bounce back from their defeat to Exeter Chiefs and book their place in the Aviva Premiership playoffs.

A 24-20 loss to the Chiefs has left Sarries outside of the top four on points difference with just one game of the regular season remaining.

However, a victory over relegated London Welsh at the Kassam Stadium this weekend could be enough to hand them a coveted place in the semi-finals.

"It is in our hands and still down to us to react well to this," Wray told BBC Sport. "We can't rest up now as it is not over. We need to go to London Welsh and put in a performance that deserves to be in the semi-finals. It's not often you potentially lose a game like that and get another shot.

"We have a big responsibility to regroup, build on what we need to do, and get what we need. London Welsh are a difficult one as they obviously have nothing to play for but yet they are a professional team and will give everything to the end."

Saracens thrashed London Welsh 78-7 when they met in the reverse fixture earlier this season.
