Toulon have guaranteed home advantage in the quarter-finals of the European Rugby Champions Cup thanks to a comfortable win over Scarlets this evening.
The reigning champions, who had already confirmed their place in the last eight, were out of the blocks quickly as Mathieu Bastareaud went over inside the opening three minutes for a converted try.
Leigh Halfpenny kicked three further penalties and Nicolas Sanchez added a drop goal before half time, with Steven Shingler only able to score a single penalty in reply for the hosts in the opening period.
It took Toulon just five minutes of the second half to go further in front as Bryan Habana scored soon after the interval to make it 26-3.
That would be the final score of the game as Toulon saw out the remaining half an hour with ease.
