Scarlets have earned their first win in this season's LV Cup with a 22-16 victory over Cardiff Blues at the Parc y Scarlets.
Gareth Owen kicked the hosts into an early lead, but Cardiff got themselves in front on 17 minutes when Gareth Davies converted Luke Hamilton's try.
Two Davies penalties extended the away side's advantage before Owen added the extras to a penalty try in the 36th minute to see the Scarlets trail 10-13.
They then managed to level the scores with the final play of the first half as Liam Williams launched a penalty through the posts.
Davies moved Cardiff back in front four minutes into the second half courtesy of his third penalty of the night.
However, Aled Thomas came off the bench to kick nine points and give the Scarlets their first victory of the campaign.
