Scotland head coach Vern Cotter has hailed the performance of captain Greig Laidlaw during their 36-33 victory over Samoa.
Laidlaw scored Scotland's final try and racked up a total of 26 points to lead his team to the Rugby World Cup quarter-finals.
"Greig had an outstanding game. We were under a lot of pressure; he kept his cool, we kept our cool," Cotter told reporters.
"We just needed to win, and that's done. We're relieved, but we're proud as well - that was a tough game."
Scotland will play against Australia next Saturday, after their 15-6 victory over Wales.
