South Africa head coach Heyneke Meyer has insisted that it "doesn't matter" who his side will face in the semi-finals of the Rugby World Cup.
The Springboks booked their spot in the last four courtesy of a dramatic and gripping 23-19 victory over Wales at Twickenham this afternoon, clinching the win with a try just five minutes from time.
Either defending champions New Zealand or France await them in the semi-finals, but Meyer stressed that his side would always have to beat the best if they were to clinch an unprecedented third World Cup crown.
"We said from day one if you're going to win the World Cup you have to beat every single team. It doesn't matter [who we play]," he told Sports Mole.
"It shouldn't be put in your mind because then your mind starts wondering. Whatever happens, we'll keep humble, keep our feet on the ground and work hard.
"It doesn't matter. If you're going to be the best in the world, you have to beat the best in the world."
France and New Zealand go head to head at the Millennium Stadium this evening.
