Jonny Wilkinson kicked 21 of Toulon's 24 points as they edged out Munster to reach the Heineken Cup final, despite not scoring a try in this afternoon's semi-final at the Stade Velodrome.
The French side had an 18-9 lead at the break thanks to three penalties and a drop goal from former England man Wilkinson, with Delon Armitage also sending over a penalty.
Munster's points before the break came via the boot of Ian Keatley, who was successful with three penalties.
The Irish outfit scored the only try of the game 12 minutes into the second half when Simon Zebo went over, with Keatley successfully converting to bring Munster within two points.
They were unable to go in front though and two more Wilkinson penalties, one in the final minute, sealed victory for Toulon, who will face Saracens in the final at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff on May 24.
