Luke Charteris has said that Wales were not clinical enough during their 17-7 win over Tonga in the Autumn International series this evening.
Owen Williams and Ashley Beck added first-half tries to put the Six Nations champions ahead, but neither side was able to increase the scores in the second half.
Charteris, who committed an obstruction that ruled out a late effort by George North, told BBC Sport: "It was pretty ugly out there. We knew going into the match how good a side Tonga were and we were not clinical enough.
"A team dogged like this will keep putting us under pressure but we won the game. I should have had two tries but didn't manage to get them."
Wales face Australia next weekend.
