Neil Jenkins has reiterated that Leigh Halfpenny will feature for Wales on their tour of New Zealand next year.
Toulon owner Mourad Boudjellal reportedly claimed that the full-back would have to seek a new club if he intended to represent the Red Dragons, instead of running out for the Top 14 side.
However, Wales coach Jenkins has maintained the Halfpenny is very much a part of manager Warren Gatland's plans for 2016, regardless of the supposed threats from elsewhere.
"If he's fit and ready, he'll be playing for Wales," Jenkins is quoted as saying by BBC Sport. "There's no greater honour than playing for your country."
Wales play three Test matches on their tour of New Zealand next June, which clashes with the prolonged French Top 14 campaign.
