Wales centre Jamie Roberts has backed his new midfield partner Tyler Morgan to impress when Wales play Fiji on Thursday.
Morgan, who will make his Rugby World Cup debut at outside centre in place of the injured Scott Williams, is being tipped by Roberts to make an instant impact following Warren Gatland's team announcement on Tuesday.
"Tyler comes in now – he's a young guy and was unlucky not to make the final squad in the first place. He's an explosive player and very enthusiastic. He has to put that into the 80 minutes now," the 28-year-old told reporters ahead of Thursday's clash.
"He's a talented young player and he has experience around him with myself and Dan Biggar and it's the same for Matthew Morgan too.
"They come into an experienced back line and all they have to do is their jobs and the rest will take care of itself."
Wales currently sit in second position in Pool A, level on points with Australia, following their 25-28 victory over England on Saturday.
