Warren Gatland has insisted that his Wales team deserved their Six Nations victory against France today.
Dan Biggar scored the visitors' only try and full-back Leigh Halfpenny kicked 15 points as they ran out 20-13 winners at the Stade de France.
However, Gatland was quick to praise the contribution of his pack as their defence stayed resolute late on.
He told BBC Sport: "We have a good record against France I thought the forwards were sensational. We scrummaged well, the line-out was good and I thought we deserved to win.
"The next game is massive against Ireland at home and hopefully we will play Italy on the final day with the championship alive."
Wales are hoping to replicate their 2013 tournament triumph when they lost their opening game against Ireland before winning four consecutive matches to lift the trophy.
