Wales lock Jake Ball has emerged as a doubt for next year's Six Nations campaign due to a knee injury.
The 24-year-old picked up the injury while playing for the Scarlets during their Boxing Day meeting with Ospreys in the Guinness Pro12.
The problem is expected to keep Ball out for up to 10 weeks, putting his participation in the Six Nations in jeopardy.
"Absolutely Gutted with injury thanks to everyone who sent messages. Be back bigger and stronger in the new year," he wrote on Twitter.
Scarlets head coach Wayne Pivac also told BBC Sport: "He's got a bit of a tear and he'll see a consultant to get an accurate view. With any luck, it's just a rehab job."
Wales get their Six Nations campaign underway against Ireland on February 7.
