Wales assistant coach Robin McBryde has claimed that Scotland will provide a stern test in Saturday's Six Nations match at Murrayfield.

Both sides go into the clash off the back of successive victories and with hopes of overtaking England at the top of the table.

Wales beat Italy 26-9 in their last outing, but McBryde has said that taking on Scotland will be a different challenge.

"We've had a good week of preparation. The boys were on the ball this morning, it was good," he told Sky Sports News. "But Scotland are going to be a tough nut to crack.

"It's going to be a big challenge for us - Murrayfield is never an easy place to come. I think both teams are building momentum, based on the last two results and looking ahead to the next two games.

"We raised our game as a pack of forwards against Italy, and I think we are in a good place at the moment."

Wales sit second in the Six Nations table, two points behind England.
