A late try from George North has helped Wales record their first win of the 2013 Six Nations, edging out France 16-6.
Wales made an attacking start to the game, spending much of the opening 10 minutes inside the French half, but the home side's defence held strong and prevented the reigning champions from scoring a try.
France took the lead after 15 minutes through a Frederic Michalak penalty, before Leigh Halfpenny leveled the scores three minutes later.
Each side added another penalty at the start of the second half to take the score to 6-6.
A close, defensive battle saw few scoring chances for either team, before North managed to cross the whitewash inside the final 10 minutes to put Wales ahead following a strong spell from the visitors.
Wales extended their lead to 10 points two minutes later, after a mistake by France allowed Halfpenny to add his third penalty of the match.
France won a penalty inside the last two minutes and tried to force a try, but were unable to covert, handing a scrum to Wales.
The result leaves France as the only nation in the tournament yet to record a win.
