Ronnie O'Sullivan requires just three more frames in the final session to win the World Championship for the fourth time in his career.
The 36-year-old resumed earlier today with a 10-7 lead over Ali Carter in Sheffield.
O'Sullivan began positively by winning the first four frames without reply.
Carter rallied to emerge victorious in the next three frames, before O'Sullivan ended the session by claiming the final rubber to open up a 15-10 advantage.
O'Sullivan has won the previous 11 meetings between the two players.
The match will resume at 7.30pm.
