Team England squash player Nick Matthew feels that he and teammate Adrian Grant did themselves proud by winning silver in the men's doubles at the Commonwealth Games.
The pair lost to Australia's David Palmer and Cameron Pilley in three sets in the gold-medal match at the Scotstoun Campus in their final match at the Games.
"In singles there is a planning structure where if something goes wrong it is easier to correct but in doubles there are so many variables and it is such a momentum game," Matthew told BBC Sport.
"We did ourselves proud, we put out game plan into practice but they pulled off two great shots to win."
Matthew won gold in the men's singles by defeating England teammate James Willstrop earlier in the Games.
