Australia managed to rally to clinch gold in the men's 4x100m freestyle relay at the Commonwealth Games this evening.
The Aussies were second behind South Africa after 200m of the race as Chad le Clos and Roland Schoeman had given their side a rapid start.
However, the arrival of James Magnussen changed the dynamic of the race as he brought the Australians within striking distance.
Magnussen then released Cameron McEvoy and he managed to power past Caydon Muller to secure the gold medal for his team, while South Africa were forced to settle for silver.
Team England finished in third place to win the bronze after recording a time of 3:16.37.
