David Ferrer has made it through to the last four of the ATP World Tour Finals with a straight-sets victory over world number one Novak Djokovic.
The Spaniard raced to a 3-0 lead in the first set before he took it 6-3, while an out-of-sorts Djokovic offered little resistance as he lost the second 6-1.
"I think maybe he was a little tired but I played very well and didn't make any mistakes," said Ferrer. "It is important for me to play well here. Last year I didn't win, and and now I have won twice, so I am very, very happy."
The world number five will join Roger Federer in the semi-finals after the Swiss's win against Rafael Nadal on Tuesday.
