Roger Federer is taking the advice of his coaching team on board ahead of his Australian Open semi-final showdown against Rafael Nadal.
The Swiss said that he was keen to discuss tactics with Stefan Edberg and Severin Luthi before taking on the Spaniard in Melbourne.
"I'm looking forward to speaking to Stefan," BBC Sport quotes Federer as saying.
"When he came to Dubai [last month] and we spoke about the game, we spoke about playing Rafa as well.
"He thought he had some good ideas, so I'm looking forward to what he has to say. Severin knows him inside out. I'm looking forward to hearing what the boys have to say."
Federer has not defeated Nadal at a major since beating him in the 2007 Wimbledon final.
