World number seven Jo-Wilfried Tsonga has expressed his happiness at the way that he performed against Michael Llodra at the Australian Open earlier today.
Tsonga rarely looked in trouble against his fellow Frenchman Michael Llodra and he eventually ran out a 6-4 7-5 6-2 victor in Melbourne.
Reflecting on the match, Tsonga admitted that he was delighted to have knocked out his "very offensive" opponent.
"I'm really happy with my tennis today. I did everything great," said Tsonga. "It's never easy to play a guy like Michael because he's very offensive.
"The point is very short and you have to be really focused on every shot. So it's good for me to go through this one."
The 27-year-old will now take on Japan's Go Soeda for a place in round three.
