Stanislas Wawrinka was pleased with the level of his performance in his third-round win over Jarkko Nieminen at the Australian Open.
The defending champion cruised to a straight-sets win over the Finn as he produced his best tennis at the crucial moments in the match to advance to the last 16 of the competition.
"I feel good," Wawrinka told reporters. "It was a really good match from me today. I was playing great. Tried to be more aggressive than normal. Did a few mistakes at the beginning.
"I was a little bit hesitant with my game. But in general I think was a strong match. To get to the second week again, it's great. So far everything is good for me."
Wawinka will face Guillermo Garcia-Lopez, who defeated him in the French Open last year, in the fourth round.
