Agnieszka Radwanska has progressed through to the Australian Open third round after a near-perfect performance to defeat Johanna Larsson in straight sets.
The sixth seed needed just 44 minutes to record a 6-0 6-1 triumph over the world number 70 as she continues her bid to better her semi-final effort from 12 months ago.
Radwanska, playing under the guidance of 18-time Grand Slam singles winner Martina Navratilova, dominated from the first point, and during a first set where she broke serve three times she allowed her opponent a total of just 10 points from six games.
Larsson finally got a game on the board at the start of the second, but it was a momentary blip on the copybook of Radwanska who struck in the Swede's next service game to open up a clear lead.
The double break was soon secured against a dispirited Larsson and Radwanska promptly wrapped up victory to earn her place in the last 32.
The 25-year-old will now play either Varvara Lepchenko or Alja Tomljanovic.
