Rafael Nadal's conqueror Dustin Brown insists that he is happy with his performance at Wimbledon after going out in the third round.

Dustin Brown has insisted that he is happy with his performance at Wimbledon, despite going out in the third round two days after knocking out two-time champion Rafael Nadal at the All England Club.

Brown's run came to an end earlier today when he lost to Victor Troicki in four sets.

Speaking after today's defeat, Brown said he was "happy" with his tournament and that Thursday's win would stay with him for life.

"Obviously having the pleasure and being able to play on Centre Court and then to play a match like that - it doesn't make a difference if I lost today or not," PA quotes Brown as saying.

"No-one will ever be able to take that I way from me."

Brown also revealed that he had reserved some tickets so that former Borussia Dortmund manager and fellow German Jurgen Klopp could watch him on Court Three today.

"I gave him tickets - not from me, but a friend of mine asked me if I could put the tickets down," Brown added.

"I wrote the name down on the paper, but I didn't think about it, then when I went on the court, I saw him and was like, 'Okay, maybe that's the person I left the tickets for'.

"It's great. It was an honour for him to be there and watch the match."

Brown's exit means that Nadal's conqueror has lost in the next round at Wimbledon the last four years.
