Cyprus's Marcos Baghdatis has seen off French 16th seed Richard Gasquet to book his spot in the third round of the men's Olympic singles at Wimbledon.
In a tight opening set the world number 40 snatched a late break on his way to a 6-4 win.
There was again little to seperate the two men in the second but crowd favourite Baghdatis found another decisive break to seal the victory 6-4.
The Cypriot will play the winner of British third seed Andy Murray's match with Finland's Jarrko Nieminen, which will take place on Centre Court later today.
