Serena Williams has taken just over an hour to dispose of Brazilian Teliana Pereira in straight sets in the second round of the French Open.
The world number one broke her opponent's serve three times in the first set to record a score of 6-2 in 33 minutes.
Pereira then took a 30-0 lead in the first game of the second set but let it slip against the 34-year-old American, who never looked back thereafter to record a score of 6-1 and an easy match win.
Williams will take either on Timea Babos or Kristina Mladenovic in the third round.
