World number four Roger Federer has cruised past Czech player Lukas Rosol 6-4 6-1 to reach the quarter-finals of this year's Monte Carlo Masters tournament.
Rosol came out very strongly and was the better player for the first few games, and he managed a break in the third to make it 3-1.
The first set then went with serve until the Swiss player upped his game in the eighth. He broke back to make it 4-4, before breaking in the final game to win the set with a fine turnaround.
The second set went with serve until the fourth game when Federer managed to break to love, before consolidating it with a hold to 15 and a 4-1 lead.
He broke once more before claiming victory at the first time of asking in a second set that lasted just 25 minutes to secure his spot in the final eight.
