Roger Federer is into the final of the Monte Carlo Masters after overcoming reigning champion Novak Djokovic.
The world number four came out on top 7-5 6-2 in a time of one hour and 15 minutes in Monaco.
Federer saved two set points in the opening set when he found himself 5-4 behind, before eventually gaining control and taking the opener with an ace down the middle of the court.
Djokovic found himself 5-1 down in the second set, and his Swiss opponent made sure of his place in the final by clinching victory on his serve in the eighth game.
Federer will face Stanislas Wawrinka in Sunday's final, following his straight-sets victory against David Ferrer earlier today.
