Great Britain's number one Andy Murray has appointed eight-time Grand Slam winner Ivan Lendl as his new coach.
Murray, 24, has been working without a mentor since splitting with Spaniard Alex Correjta in March of this year.
"Ivan's impact on the game is unquestionable and he brings experience and knowledge that few others have, particularly in major tournaments," Murray said.
"It was important to me that any new person joining my team was able to add fresh insight.
"I look forward to working with him going forward."
Czech Republic-born Lendl never managed to win a Wimbledon title, but won the Australian Open twice, the French Open three times and also the US Open three times.
Murray and 51-year-old Lendl's first competition together will be the Brisbane Open.
