Marin Cilic has advanced through to round three at the Queen's Club courtesy of a 6-2 6-1 victory over Australian youngster Matthew Ebden this afternoon.
Both players held their own service games as the encounter got off to an even start.
However, Cilic went on to claim the first break of serve to open up a 3-2 advantage, before going on to win the next three games on his way to wrapping up the first set.
Cilic, who is currently ranked number 22 in the world, took full control of the match in the second set with a series of powerful serves and ground-strokes.
The Croatian dropped just one game in the second set on his way to securing his passage through to the next round in just over one hour.
