Marinko Matosevic has booked his place in the quarter-finals of the Aegon Championships at Queen's by beating Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 6-2 6-4 tonight.
Matosevic, who beat ninth seed Marin Cilic in the first round on Tuesday, took another scalp as he downed the world number 17 in 75 minutes this evening.
Tsonga started poorly, suffering a break of serve in the opening game as the Australian later inflicted another to help him to a 6-2 win.
The world number 60 broke his French counterpart in the opening game of the second set once again en route to an early two-game lead, before ultimately winning 6-2 6-4 to move into the last-eight stage.
