Richard Gasquet will take on world number four Andy Murray in round three of the Rome Masters.
The Frenchman set up the match with Murray courtesy of a 6-3 6-2 success over qualifier Paolo Lorenzi this afternoon.
Italina Lorenzi struggled to cope with Gasquet's shots from the back of the court from the very beginning, resulting in the 16th seed taking the first set 6-3.
The next set proved to be even more one-sided as Gasquet claimed two breaks of Lorenzi's serve on his way to securing the victory, dropping just five games in the process.
