Johanna Konta has booked her place in the last 16 at the Aegon International with victory over Lesia Tsurenko.
The British number one is looking to build some momentum ahead of Wimbledon and she produced one of her better performances in recent weeks with a 7-6 6-1 win over the world number 42 in Eastbourne.
After the opening set saw nine break points go begging, Konta took control of the tie-break to move closer to the third round.
Tsurenko had prevailed in their previous meeting in 2013 but she had no answer to Konta in the second set as she stormed into a 5-0 advantage before eventually serving out the match.
Konta will now play two-time Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova on Wednesday.
