Richard Gasquet believes that he will have to be on top form to defeat Thomaz Bellucci in round two of the Rogers Cup.
The world number 11 set up a meeting with Brazilian Bellucci having defeated Florian Mayer 6-3 6-2 earlier today.
Gasquet has already faced Bellucci once this year, coming out on top in the French Open 6-2 6-3 3-6 6-3.
"He [Bellucci] is a tough guy to play against," said the Frenchman.
"I had the fans behind me in Paris and I remember I played a very good match against him.
"But I know he's powerful and very talented. It's a big match for me and to win against him I will have to play a great match."
Gasquet, 25, has won six titles in his career.
