World number six Petra Kvitova has won the Rogers Cup by overcoming Li Na in a two-hour final.
The 22-year-old Czech converted her fifth set point to take the opening set 7-5, before Li levelled the match by winning the second 6-2.
Kvitova served magnificently to claim the final set 6-3 with a solitary break of service.
She recorded a first-serve percentage of 75 and, despite not producing a single ace, won every one of the 18 points behind her first serve during the decider.
Kvitova received a cheque worth $385,000 (£245,000) for her triumph.
