Novak Djokovic has revealed that he is still looking for the "right rhythm" in this year's US Open despite cruising through to the third round.
Djokovic avoided an early scare against Benjamin Becker by saving two set points in the first set before going on to win the tie-break 7-2.
The Serb then made short work of the remaining two sets, winning both 6-2 to record a comfortable straight-sets victory. However, the tournament's number one seed was not completely satisfied with his performance.
"I've been trying to find the right rhythm on the court," Djokovic told ESPN.
"Today was tricky conditions and the first hour I wasn't able to play as well as wanted. After that I felt more confident. I've been working on that in the last 10 days.
"Hopefully I can go far in the tournament."
Djokovic will face either Jarkko Nieminen or Joao Sousa in the third round.
