World number 10 Stanislas Wawrinka believes that Tomas Berdych will not be happy to face him in the fourth round of the US Open as he "doesn't like" his game.
The Swiss advanced from the third stage of the tournament with a 6-3 6-2 6-7 7-6 win over Cypriot Marcos Baghdatis.
That victory set up a quarter-final showdown with Berdych, and Wawrinka is expecting a tough battle against the world number five.
"It's always tough to play against him," Wawrinka told reporters. "Usually we have some great battles together.
"I need to adapt a little bit my game because he's so powerful. He's not really happy to play against me. He doesn't like my game.
"We practice a few times together. I know if I'm if fit and if I play well, I have some chance."
Wawrinka leads the career head-to-head with Berdych 6-5.
