Three-time Wimbledon champion John McEnroe has suggested that Novak Djokovic is in a good place to reach the final of Wimbledon, following his opening-round win over Phillip Kohlschreiber.
The defending champion beat the German 6-4 6-4 6-4, and will face Jarkko Nieminen in the next round.
McEnroe told Wimbledon 2Day: "Novak Djokovic played well today. Make no mistake. His movement is so amazing, as is his court coverage and defence. It looked like he had the hardest draw before the tournament started but maybe it is opening up a bit."
Djokovic is in the same half of the draw as Stanislas Wawarinka, Kei Nishikori and Grigor Dimitrov.
