Andy Murray plans to occupy his 'own little bubble' ahead of Friday's Wimbledon semi-final against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.

Andy Murray has revealed that he plans to avoid any media hype ahead of his Wimbledon semi-final against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga on Friday.

The fourth seed booked his place in the semis for the fourth consecutive year thanks to a victory over Spain's David Ferrer on Wednesday evening.

Despite the inevitable talk surrounding his chances of winning the tournament, the Brit claims that he will shut himself away in his "own little bubble".

"There's obviously pressure there. I think if you think too much about it, and you read the newspapers and you watch the stuff on TV that's said about you, I think it would become far too much," Murray told reporters.

"But if you shield yourself from it all and just get into your own little bubble, only listen to the people that are around you, then it's something you can deal with."

Murray is looking to become the first British male player to reach the Wimbledon final since Fred Perry in 1936.
