Lukasz Kubot has booked his place in the quarter-finals of Wimbledon with a 4-6 6-3 3-6 6-3 6-4 victory over Adrian Mannarino.

The opening set brought just the one break of serve, with Mannarino breaking at 3-3 before holding his next two service games to move into the lead.

Kubot responded in the second, however, breaking at 0-1 to go 2-0 ahead before eventually levelling the match at one-set-all.

Both players continued to serve well in the third set, but again it was Mannarino who secured the decisive break at 3-4 before serving to move into the lead.

Just one break also occurred in each of the next two sets, but it was Kubot who triumphed on each occasion to book his spot in the final eight of the competition.
