Blackburn Rovers have headed into half time level with Bournemouth following a goalless first half at Ewood Park.
Lewis Grabban had an early chance for the visitors, testing Paul Robinson with a fifth-minute strike, but the Blackburn keeper was able to punch the ball away before Grant Hanley blocked a rebound.
The home side's first chance also came inside the opening 10 minutes as Craig Conway won a corner which Rudy Gestede tried to head in, but Lee Camp made a comfortable save.
Matt Ritchie had a string of shots for Bournemouth as they continued to press for the opening goal, but Robinson was able to turn the first behind, while two more missed the target.
Steve Cook came within inches of breaking the deadlock just before the break, but his header was kept out by the post.
