Viktoria Plzen booked their place in the last-16 stage of the Europa League with a 3-2 aggregate win over Shakhtar Donetsk at the Donbass Arena tonight.
The Czech outfit, who were held to a 1-1 draw by their Ukrainian counterparts in the first leg, bagged two first-half away goals through Daniel Kolar and Milan Petrzela to ensure that Donetsk would need three goals in order to progress.
Luiz Adriano reduced the arrears on 88 minutes but it proved a mere consolation as Viktoria held on to secure their place in the next round.
