The Baltimore Ravens are edging closer to a long-term deal with tight end Dennis Pitta, according to a report.
The 28-year-old missed the majority of the 2013 season after dislocating his hip during training camp, and was limited to just four games where he had 20 receptions for 163 yards and a touchdown.
Pitta and the Ravens were reportedly far apart in their negotiations two weeks ago, but have made significant progress in their talks and are hopeful of agreeing a deal shortly, reports NFL Network.
The tight end has been with the club since he was drafted in 2010.
