Buffalo Bills safety Jairus Byrd has stated that he has an open mind when it comes to his future with the franchise.
Byrd, who was drafted by the Bills in the second round of the 2009 NFL Draft, sat out of training camp this off-season before signing his franchise tender, and will become a free agent again when the current campaign is over.
The Pro Bowler told the Bills' official radio show The John Murphy Show: "I've always said all along that I want to be where I'm wanted and if it's here, then great. I've been here for four years and I want to continue to build on that.
"Now, I know there is a business side to it. That's more for people upstairs to handle and work out. I'm leaving that to my agent and those guys. I'm out of it.
"But of course, I'm absolutely open-minded. Definitely. I'm not going to close my mind on anything. I'm open to whatever might come along."
The Bills have a 4-7 in the AFC East from their 11 matches so far.
