Adam Gase has said that Peyton Manning had "a lot of energy" on his return to practice with the Denver Broncos.
The quarterback sat out practice on Wednesday while resting a sprained ankle, but was able to take part in yesterday's session.
The team's offensive coordinator told reporters: "He had a lot of energy today. So it was good to see him back out there. Every day, [it is] little bit better and today was a good day's work."
Wide receiver Eric Decker added: "Peyton was good today. It's always good to have him out there. Same old Peyton. Demanding of the offense, making sure we're doing this correctly, and he's throwing the football real well."
The Broncos face the unbeaten Kansas City Chiefs this weekend.
